How MapRail uses cookies
MapRail only uses cookies and browser storage that are necessary to operate the website securely or provide a feature you have requested. We do not currently use advertising, behavioural tracking or analytics cookies.

Why consent is not requested
UK cookie rules provide exceptions where storage is strictly necessary to deliver an online service requested by a user, or where it remembers a user-interface choice the user has actively made. MapRail does not load non-essential storage technologies before or after you acknowledge the notice.
Managing stored information
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie may prevent security-related website functions from working correctly. Clearing maprail_cookie_notice will cause the notice to appear again.
Changes to this policy
If MapRail introduces analytics, advertising or another non-essential technology, it will not be loaded until an appropriate consent choice has been provided. This policy and the website’s controls will be updated at that time.
